In 1997, Motoshi Kosako moved to the United States. While continuing tours in Japan he won second place in Lyon & Healy International Jazz & Pop Harp Competition; received the “Best of Sacramento” award from Sacramento Magazine; and became the principal harpist of Stockton Symphony Orchestra. Between honors he has produced numerous original compositions. He is considered the most influential Jazz harpist in Japan. GuitarWork is pleased to offer a unique opportunity to hear his groundbreaking style in an intimate setting.
