Friday February 2nd marks the beginning of a First Friday music and speaker series. For our first show I’ve invited two local musicians and storytellers. Katie Aguirre will tell of the Argonaut mine tragedy, adding music she has written about the event. Rose Borunda will provide history from an indigenous perspective through story and song.
The stories and songs will provide a window into history. Comments and audience participation are encouraged, and refreshments for young and old will be provided.
